Kaitlyn Rhoades has been in the health and wellness industry for 15 years. Her passion ignited as a professional ballet dancer who fell in love with Pilates.

After 7 years of dancing professionally, she not only wanted to switch gears into fitness but focus on injuries and rehabilitation. After receiving her Masters in Rehabilitation Science and Research, Kaitlyn opened up her own studio in the heart of the Marina.

While running a business, working with clients herself she started to feel sick. The problem was nothing was working. She was chronically fatigued, her hair was falling out and she was having gut issues. When she finally found answers from yours truly, Dr Sara Zare, she was looking at an Auto-immune disease (Hashimoto’s) and SIBO. With a business running full steam ahead, she was faced with the challenges of how to heal and run a business.

When Covid hit, Kaitlyn had to make the painful decision to close her business. As her midwest family would say, when one door closes another one opens. She decided to take some time and start researching how Autoimmune Diseases start, inflammation in the body and how to heal. She started experimenting in the kitchen on how to heal with food. That experimenting led to an enrollment in the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. But she still couldn’t get enough.

Kaitlyn’s passion is people, and helping feel like their best selves. After putting her own Hoshimotos and SIBO into remission she knows that one approach is not for everyone and is always researching different ways to help heal the body. Kaitlyn is currently back in school working her way to a path in Functional Medicine.
